The Videocon School of cricket was launched in Kolkata
to train budding talent in the age group of 10 to 17.
The academy has been undertaken in cooperation with
the captain of the Indian cricket team, Saurav Ganguly,
who has been designated Chief Coach. It aims to put
about 700 students through the paces every year.
Sponsorship of cricketing events across the globe underlies
Videocon's commitment and passion for sports as well
as its goal to connect with a global audience. |
